Seoul Startup Gongdeok Successfully Concluded the 2025 Open Innovation Performance-Sharing Seminar, Promoting Exemplary Program Cases

[메가경제=양대선 기자] On the 19th, Seoul Business Agency (SBA, CEO Kim Hyunwoo) announced that it has successfully completed 2025 Seoul Startup Hub Open Innovation Performance-sharing seminar, held at the Seoul Partners House Convention Hall.

 

Under the slogan ‘Innovating Together, Shaping the Future Together (Co-create, Co-share)’, the seminar was organized to strengthen partnerships between large and mid-sized enterprises and to share and promote exemplary cases.


Around 80 participants from large and mid-sized enterprises, startup supporting organizations, and startup officials joined the seminar, which kicked off with opening remarks by Kim Hyunwoo, the CEO of Seoul Business Agency, followed by a congratulatory speech from Jo Hyejeong, the vice president of Samsung C&T Corporation.


It first presented plaques of appreciation to outstanding partners who contributed to revitalizing open innovation ecosystem by identifying startups, securing investments and carrying out PoCs. Partners, including Samsung C&T Corporation, NH Nonghyup Bank, Shinhan Venture Investment, Hyundai Home Shopping, and SoluM, have been selected as exemplary partners.


The performances achieved through cooperation between large and mid-sized enterprises and startups have also drawn attention. While large and mid-sized enterprises introduced exemplary open innovation programs, key achievements and plans for the coming year, startups showcased their collaborative projects, PoC outcomes, and the status of investments and commercialization.


While NH Nonghyup bank and ‘Lomin’ introduced document AI platform that enhances document data, Shinhan Venture Investment showcased an API for automated IPO Subscription and Trading, developed in collaboration with Metalogos. Additionally, Hyundai Home Shopping and Z.AI jointly announced a CRM marketing solution based on user behavior analysis, while SoluM and Aswemake introduced integrated management solution for digital transformation of Food Supply stores.


Moreover, the event promoted outstanding startups’ technology and their achievements in cooperative PoC through exhibition booths, while providing opportunities to secure new investment and pursue follow-up collaborative business through networking among large enterprises, startups and venture capitalists.


Now, ten startups, including Creative Digital Lab, Lemong, Purple IO, SeedN, P2ACH AI, Impactive AI, DBD Lab, Arch Seoul, Ourspot, and HAII, that were identified during the open innovation event, participated in the exhibition booths.


Seoul Startup Hub Gongdeok provided support for technological collaboration and strategic investment by facilitating matches between startups and large and mid-sized enterprises through approximately 30 open innovation programs. A Seoul Startup Hub official stated that the organization aims to continue offering technological support to both large enterprises and startups to enhance technological competitiveness and drive innovation in the future.
