[메가경제=양대선 기자] By showcasing ‘BLOS’, its smart water management system, Geogrid won in the Smart Settlement and Urbanization category at the World Summit Awards 2025, capturing the spotlight .
BLOS (Building Oasis) is a smart water management system that provides integrated management of water infrastructures issues such as aged pipes, rusty water, scale, slime and bacteria, starting right at the building’s main intake. The objective lies not only in managing a building’s water usage based on a database, but also in securing water quality, improving maintenance efficiency, reducing carbon emissions and increasing property value.
The World Summit Awards (WSA) is a digital awards platform affiliated with the World Summit on the Information Society, discovering innovative cases committed to reaching the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Not only did the WSA recognized Geogrid as a solution provider for its efficient building management, safety, and sustainability, but it also praised the company for its contribution to materializing both SDG 6 values and innovative urban infrastructure.
As a WSA winner, Geogrid will participated in the WSA Global congress, which will be held in Vienna, Austria, from the 19th to the 22nd. At this international event, where WSA winners and innovators from around the world gather, Geogrid is expected to introduce its BLOS technology and its vision for urban-scale smart water infrastructure.
